I've been wanting to make a doll of Angie from Resident Evil 8 for years and finally did it! And documented the whole thing.

I chose Lagoona as the base doll because I figured her blue-grey skin tone and rounded fish eyes would work well with Angie's design. I found this one on Ebay, and kept the old clothes to potentially use for a custom in the future.

I removed her arms to cut off the fins and finger webbing, and removed her head, as I'd be using two different sprays for it and her body. However, the crossbar for her neck peg broke, and the neck peg was left inside her head.

After a quick drowning in hot water (though she is a fish so she was probably fine) I was able to remove the neck peg and superglue the crossbar back in.

From the reference photos I could find, Angie has scraggly blond hair, so all I had to do was rip out the blue plugs instead of making a whole new wig.

I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on Mr Super Clear, so I got Testor's Dullcote on clearance from work to use for the faceup.

For her dress, I modified Dollightful's sundress pattern. Along with the main piece of the bodice and liner, I added an extra layer from a lace ribbon.

I extended the initial skirt length to 6.5 inches, and added more lace ribbon on top. I then made another layer from the regular length skirt pattern, and out a chunk before adding a lace layer to that.

After painting the necklace and bracelet details on her body, I reattached her head and sewed her into the finished dress before cutting her hair, and sewing some ribbon together to make her veil.

Now she sits on my bookshelf staring at my bed because I didn't plan for how scary she'd be.
