August 15th → ? - The Vampire Masterlist

Me and my best friend have always enjoyed vampire media, but have recently found ourselves with a need to pick up almost every vampire movie we can find in the used dvd sections of the many record stores we've frequented. In one store, we were lucky enough to show up the same week they had just gotten in a huge lot of vampire movies.

This is going to be an ongoing project of watching and gathering some rough thoughts of mine about everything we bought collectively, including a collection of 20 vampire movies across 4 discs spanning from the 1920s to the 1980s, as well as some potential erotica? I'm not really sure.

• Fright Night (2011) - Watched Aug. 15, 2024 - With the disclaimer that I haven't seen the original, Fright Night is a nice and gory, somewhat comedic take on a vampire movie, with an excellent cast that really gives their all. I don't have a lot to say about it in terms of anything truly spectacular but it's perfect for hanging out with friends.
